Joe Yerdon jumped on in the first hour to discuss the Jonathan Quick game misconduct last night and share what he thinks what it would take for the Kings netminder to get supplementary discipline. Yerdon and Eric also covered what Senators roster move was a good decision, what gave the Islanders the edge over Pittsburgh that Ottawa lacks, and why Chicago will never live it down if they succumb to Detroit in the second round. John Hoven from MayorsManor.com joined in the second hour to recap the Kings – Sharks series and why he says the Kings are the closest group of players in hockey. Eric also covered why he feels the NHL has the most abused officials in the league, his distaste for the “lawyer talk” in the rulebook and a few of his comments on the upcoming NHL draft.

Happy Mother’s Day! On the Sunday edition, Todd spoke with Adam Vingan of the WaPo Express and NBC Washington as he was heading to Game 6 at MSG on the Amtrak train. Adam believes that the trade for Rick Nash last summer screwed up the New York Rangers chemistry. Also appearing on the program, Adam Gretz of CBS Eye on Hockey. He spoke to Todd about his feelings on Tomas Vokoun starting in the next series after the Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the New York Islanders. At the end of the show, Todd talked about who he felt should have been nominated for the Hart Trophy.

Sharks play-by-play announcer Dan Rusanowsky joined and spoke about how Sharks’ head coach Todd Mclellan’s move to switch Brent Burns from defense to right wing.

Happy Cinco de Mayo! On Sunday’s show, Todd welcomed CBS Eye on Hockey Chris Peters to the show to recap the playoff action across the league. They broke down the Gryba hit vs. the Abdelkader hit and the complicated situations that arise from rule 48. The two also talked about various series in both conferences, and which ones they’re looking forward to most this week. Todd discussed which Leaf he thinks deserves to be captain, the gray area that Karl Alzner highlighted in the delay of game penalty yesterday vs. NYR, and the controversial firing of CSN Chicago anchor Susannah Collins over her “tremendous” verbal slip on air earlier in the week.

On today’s Hockey Unfiltered, Adam Proteau from The Hockey News joined, as well as Rob Rossi from the Pittsburgh Tribune. Todd touched on his distaste for teams resting healthy players, which first-round match up he thinks will be most interesting in the East, and his feedback on Don Cherry’s comments on last night’s HNIC Coach’s Corner where Cherry said women don’t belong in the locker room. Adam Proteau jumped on in the first hour and he covered both conferences and looked forward to the playoffs, including his thoughts on why he thinks the St. Louis – Los Angeles series will be the best to watch in the first round. In the second hour, Rob Rossi previewed the Penguins for the first round of the playoffs, including the personal reasons why Marc Andre-Fleury is in his best mental state ever.
